About the job

Advantra is partnering with a Series A AI infrastructure startup in San Francisco to hire an AI Developer Advocate to drive adoption and showcase their multimodal data query engine.

About the role

You will work directly with developers to build tutorials demos and examples that highlight the platforms capabilities across images video audio and text. You will translate complex multimodal workflows into reproducible content and gather feedback to shape the roadmap. You will also engage with the community through events and presentations to expand awareness and adoption of the open-source engine.

Responsibilities

1. Work with users to understand multimodal data challenges and use-cases.
   

2. Create tutorials technical demos and videos for AI data workflows.
   

3. Build end-to-end examples for multi-modal RAG systems and AI pipelines.
   

4. Demonstrate agent orchestration and foundation model training pipelines.
   

5. Present at conferences meetups and technical events.
   

6. Collect user feedback to influence product roadmap and open-source features.
   

7. Produce clear developer-facing content for complex AI systems.
   

8. Collaborate with the engineering team to showcase new features.
   

Core requirements

1. 2 years of experience in AI/ML or multimodal data engineering.
   

2. Experience with distributed systems for large-scale data processing.
   

3. Proven track record creating technical content or demos.
   

4. Experience presenting at conferences meetups or technical events.
   

5. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear examples.
   

6. Experience with at least one programming language for AI pipelines.
   

7. Familiarity with open-source contributions or public repositories.
   

8. Understanding of foundation models and LLM pipelines.
   

9. Knowledge of video image text and audio processing workflows.
   

10. Comfortable working closely with early-stage teams in a high-collaboration environment.
    

Nice to have

1. Experience with RAG systems and AI agent orchestration.
   

2. Knowledge of cloud GPU clusters and infrastructure management.
   

3. Hands-on experience with real-time AI assistant systems.
   

4. Experience building reproducible multimodal datasets.
   

5. Familiarity with community building and developer advocacy programs.
