Advantra is partnering with an early-stage AI productivity startup in San Francisco to hire a Full Stack Design Engineer to design and build user experiences for an AI-native workspace.

About the role

You will lead the design and development of performant intuitive and beautiful interfaces. You will work across the full stack with a focus on frontend to deliver a highly usable AI-powered product. You will iterate quickly based on user feedback and help define product vision and roadmap.

Responsibilities

Design and implement performant visually appealing user interfaces.
Build full stack features with emphasis on frontend architecture.
Plan and deploy necessary frontend infrastructure.
Collaborate with users to gather feedback and improve experience.
Track product metrics and iterate on features quickly.
Define the user experience for spreadsheet-based agent workflows.
Contribute to product vision and roadmap planning.
Maintain consistency and quality across web applications.

Core requirements

Willingness to work in person in San Francisco.
Familiarity with web animation and motion design.
Strong product-minded design and development skills.
Experience iterating rapidly in ambiguous fast-paced environments.
Proven history of technical or product achievement.
Ability to work independently and in small collaborative teams.
Exposure to full stack development especially frontend-heavy projects.
Strong problem-solving and curiosity-driven learning.

Nice to have

Experience with AI-based or agent-driven applications.
Knowledge of spreadsheet-based workflows or interfaces.
Prior startup or founding experience.
Understanding of large-scale frontend infrastructure.
Contributions to open-source or web design projects.
