Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent experience.
6 years of Linux server administration in enterprise environments.
Strong skills in RHEL/CentOS administration including systemd networking and storage.
Proficiency in Bash scripting and familiarity with Python or Ansible.
Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios Zabbix Prometheus etc.).
Understanding of ITIL processes.
Preferred Skills
Experience with container technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS Azure GCP).
Certification: RHCSA/RHCE LFCS or equivalent.

We are looking for a skilled Linux Systems Engineer to administer maintain and enhance our Linux-based infrastructure. The role involves managing various Linux distributions ensuring system stability automating operational tasks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration
Install configure and maintain Linux servers (RHEL CentOS Ubuntu SUSE).
Manage user accounts permissions and security settings.
Administer storage LVM and file systems (ext4 xfs etc.).
Operations & Maintenance
Perform OS patching upgrades and kernel tuning.
Monitor system health troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Security & Compliance
Implement OS hardening best practices.
Apply security patches and monitor for vulnerabilities.
Automation & Scripting
Develop and maintain scripts in Bash Python or Ansible for automation.
Support infrastructure-as-code deployments.
Collaboration
Work with application database and DevOps teams for Linux-based deployments.
Provide on-call support for critical issues. |
