Molding Maintenance Technician - PS102125

Pay: $25 - $36/hr benefits

Industry: Plastic Injection Molding

Schedule: Full-Time 1st shift

Were looking for a highly skilled Molding Maintenance Technician to join a stable and well-established leader in the plastic injection molding industry. This role is critical to ensuring the efficiency consistency and quality of our high-volume production operations.

Responsibilities:

Set up fine-tune and maintain injection molding processes to meet production and quality targets.
Optimize molding parameters for cycle time part quality and material usage.
Troubleshoot process-related issues including flash short shots warping and other defects.
Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to support mold trials startups and shutdowns.
Document process changes setups and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations.
Ensure compliance with safety quality and operational standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience servicing and maintaining injection molding equipment within a manufacturing setting
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Skilled in interpreting blueprints electrical diagrams and technical documentation
Competent in the use of hand tools power tools and diagnostic instruments
Familiarity with basic computer applications; experience using CMMS or similar maintenance tracking software is a plus
