Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Position: Carer/Retired Nurse
Ref: 5102
Location: PE/Gqebera
Salary: R15 000 to R23 000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience
Working hours: 3.30 PM to 7.30 AM
Qualifications / Requirements:
Proven experience as a Personal Caregiver (would ideally suit a retired Nurse)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (good communication in English essential)
Compassionate patient and reliable with strong ethical principles
Physical stamina and good organizational skills
Valid drivers license
A background check will be conducted and a clear criminal clearance essential
Key Performance Areas:
Assist with tasks such as bathing dressing grooming when necessary
Help with moving patient around the home and bed routine
Medication management
Health monitoring and report any changes in physical or mental health to family members or Supervisors
