Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated reliable and outgoing Receptionist to provide clerical support to the Cultural Program. The ideal candidate will be required to provide a variety of specialized duties to assist and support the LLRIB Health Services programs and services. About the facility: LLRIBHS promotes health in our communities for the wellbeing of all members. We provide accessible high quality health services and programs. Together with others we work to build capacity and educate as we address both acute care needs and the determinants of health.


About the position: Providing general office functions: operate a switch board typing operating office equipment coordinate & distribute incoming mail & supplies.


Duties:
Participate in scheduling staff meetings records type and distribute minutes;
Maintain general office supply inventory;
Maintain positive public relations;
Maintain central filing system;
Communicate in a clear accurate and respectful manner
Order coffee supplies as required for the Health Services administration buildings;
Frequent contact with LLRIBHS staff with information regarding current community needs program changes and use of resources;


Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 10; training and/or experience in administration or related field preferred (Combination of education and relevant experience may be considered);
Experience and knowledge with computers and office equipment;
Willing to obtain additional training;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
Ability to speak/understand Cree is a definite asset;
Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License;
Experience working with First Nations communities is a definite asset;
