In this role youll:

Be an experienced Truck Driver (MR GANG) TMA Operator - and join our Maintenance and Delivery Crew based in Goulburn NSW

Operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes) as an MR Truck Driver for the Maintenance & Delivery team

Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow

Operate a HIAB or similar truck mounted crane

Carry out general road worker labouring duties of a Road Worker Grade 3

Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools when not operating the Truck

On occasion camp away from home and regularly attend after hours call outs and incidents when required

In addition to the above the trucks operated by this position may include water tankers and Flocon Trucks (asphalt transport)

Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise

Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards

Work a 9 Day Fortnight

About you

We are looking for experienced Truck Drivers who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed high traffic volume environment.

Essential Licenses and Tickets:

Medium Rigid - Medium Rigid Vehicle Licence

Current Construction Industry White Card

Traffic control certifications (Traffic Controller / Implement) or willing to obtain before commencement

Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment and experience and understanding of local road networks across the district.

We take WH&S and the management of fatigue of our employees seriously. Therefore to be successful in this role it is a requirement that you must reside within a 50km radius of the Goulburn works depot.

Whilst not required experience in operating plant (excavator bobcat padfoot/smooth drum roller) would be advantageous
