MacKillop Family Services is looking for passionate individuals ready to make a difference in the lives of young people. Our Out of Home Care programs support children with complex needs through residential and therapeutic care.

This is a fulltime parttime and casual opportunity based throughout our Barwon region within our Out of Home Care Program. This position reports to the Regional Coordinator.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will have:

A Certificate IV in Child Youth and Family Intervention. If you hold a similar or relevant qualification such as a Diploma of Community Services Social Work or another related tertiary qualification youre also encouraged to apply.
A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing.
Demonstrate empathy for young people in our care in an open minded and nonjudgmental manner.
Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation including the capacity to set and maintain consistent boundaries to provide safety stability and consistency.

You must have a:

Valid and current Drivers Licence;
Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
