Job Description:
Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of supply chain and procurement with broad knowledge of project management. Independently works on large moderately complex procurements projects and processes that can be inside or outside of their immediate job area with moderate oversight. Typically responsible for working several Government procurements in support of multiple Government Programs. Explains interprets communicates and achieves cooperation on policies procedures and practices with internal and external customers. May provide guidance and assistance to other employees. This position requires following established procedures and policies to perform assigned tasks. Requires professional judgment and use and/or application of supply chain/procurement principles theories and concepts.
Essential Functions:
- Performs fundamental procurement activities including acquisition of materials components and services at realistic and competitive prices which meet schedule safety and quality standards.
- Performs price/cost analysis.
- Provides proposal support.
- Must have government buying experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.
- Remote employees will be expected to be on-site a minimum of 1 day every 2 weeks to foster our in-person connections and how we engage with one another. This should primarily be used for staff meetings and other team interactions as well as maintaining relationships with other cross-functional/internal customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior procurement experience orGraduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior procurement lieu of a degree a minimum of 8 years of prior procurement experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Familiar with issuing supplier contracts to support direct programs above the micro-purchase level ($10k).
- Ability to support supplier contract above TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Colorado State Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota Vermont and New York State is $62000- $115000. For California Seattle Washington D.C. Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area the city of Denver Washington State and New York City the salary range for this role is $71500- $132500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
