Education and Training Guidelines
Graduation from an accredited law school.
License/Certification: Juris Doctorate (Required)
Competencies
The incumbent must possess outstanding analytical research and writing skills. For each case you will be expected to analyze the legal and factual issues presented perform independent legal research to confirm what legal principles govern and apply those principles to set-forth an objective unbiased conclusion. You must write legal memoranda in a clear organized fashion to inform the court about the issues arguments and controlling law. You must have a firm grasp of basic legal principles with the ability to expand your current base of legal knowledge into many different areas. You will be expected to have expertise in proofreading and citation formatting. All work will be done impartially confidentially promptly and professionally. You must be able to work effectively with others which includes the ability to accept and provide constructive input.

SALARY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Beginning salary for a Staff Attorney is $69238.80 annually. Additionally you may be eligible for a $2500 increase after the completion of a 90-day period.
Senior Staff Attorney 2 years min. mandatory legal exp & FL Bar membership starting at $78519.84 Career Staff Attorney 5 years min. mandatory legal exp & FL Bar membership starting at $88324.08.
