About the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football Leagues AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFLs youngest franchises playing their first regular season home game on Sept. 3 1995 in Jacksonville Fla. and have since won four division titles. The Jaguars are owned by Shahid Khan a visionary leader whose businesses include Flex-N-Gate Fulham Football Club All Elite Wrestling Bold Events and Iguana Investments. Since 2012 Mr. Khans impact on the Northeast Florida community has exceeded $500 million including charitable giving through the Jaguars Foundation capital improvements to EverBank Stadium and the creation of Dailys Place which hosts upwards of 40 concerts a year. The Jaguars and Iguana Investments opened the Miller Electric Center a state-of-the-art sports performance center in 2023 which now houses all of football operations for the Jaguars including players coaches and other personnel. Over the next several years the Jaguars and Iguana Investments will complete Phase 1 of the Jacksonville Shipyards a reimagination of the riverfront which will include a Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences an office building inclusive of the Jaguars front office headquarters and a modernized marina and support building as well as begin additional projects to transform the area around the stadium into a year-round mixed-use sports and entertainment district.

In 2024 the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville announced plans to move forward with a reimagined Stadium of the Future securingJaguars football in Jacksonville for generations to come plus a continuation of annual traditions of the Florida-Georgia Football Classic and TaxSlayer Gator Bowl while also opening opportunities for future Super Bowls Final Four tournaments college football playoffs marquee concerts and more. Using research derived from Jaguars fans stadium guests and a comprehensive assessment of the facilitys structure the Stadium of the Future will be a world-class venue for a world-class city that showcases a facility that is environmentally friendly cost effective and presents state-of-the-art innovation. The Stadium of the Future features a protective canopy wider concourses new communal spaces scenic lookout decks immersive in-bowl technology new seating types and a public Floridian nature park.

Through this program you will identify learning goals and work with the Jaguars management to achieve those goals.
This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in digital content operations at a professional sports club. As a Digital Media Intern you will assist in the creation review and management of digital content across the Jaguars official Mobile App and YouTube.
What You Will Learn from Your Job Responsibilities
- Publish digital content including articles photo galleries videos and podcasts.
- Learn and apply SEO techniques and URL tracking to optimize content performance.
- Assist with paid media buying across digital platforms including placing web and app banners on Jaguars-owned and operated channels.
- Campaign Support - Collaborating on the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns merch/ticket sales and game attendance.
- Assist in the design of respective landing pages for NFL campaigns programs and initiatives across and Jaguars app.
- Support app experience design through layout testing UX research and wireframing new features or content modules.
- Conduct competitive analysis and audit best practices for user engagement in sports digital media.
- Aid in the development and execution of digital plans of action and content rollouts for major NFL tentpole events such as the NFL Draft Scouting Combine and Organized Team Activities (OTAs).
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the website and mobile app including the development of digital experiences designed to support key business objectives such as fan engagement traffic growth and revenue generation.
- Support creation and strategy behind fan sweepstakes and giveaways.
Internship Qualifications
Required
- Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in marketing advertising digital media sports marketing or related field OR have graduated within 18 months of the internship start date.
- 1 years of experience in digital content creation publishing or a related field (internships acceptable).
- Basic knowledge of SEO URL tracking and analytics tools.
- Proficiency with CMS platforms and photo/video editing tools.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure content is error-free.
- Ability to learn quickly with a high degree of comfort around technology
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to meet deadlines and reach cross-functional department objectives (marketing design production etc.)
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving content campaign challenges or technical issues.
Preferred
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and accessibility standards.
- Basic understanding of digital advertising platforms like Google Ads Manager Emplifi Tableau Adobe Analytics or social media ad managers (e.g Facebook and Instagram).
- Familiarity with streaming platforms and technologies such as Vimeo.
- Experience with YouTube including publishing content understanding platform capabilities (e.g. Shorts long-form videos) analyzing performance metrics and staying updated on platform trends.
Other Details
- Term: March 2026 August 2026 (flexible)
- Interns will give a final presentation at the end of their internship.
- Internship is on-site in Jacksonville FL and chosen interns are responsible for personal accommodations such as local housing and transportation.
- Internships at the Jaguars are paid positions.
