The re:Cycle Reverse Logistics team is looking for a detail-oriented experienced and professional Global Process Owner (GPO) for Quality and Inventory Control. This role is an individual contributor role who will work on a global scale to turn todays pain points into efficient scalable frustration-free processes. Were looking for someone who is passionate about operational excellence: you love streamlining processes. You are a learner and doer at heart with the confidence to take calculated risks quickly.
If you enjoy solving problems leveraging data and providing thought leadership in an ambiguous environment where you get to help write the playbook then this may be for you. This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various operations finance and other support teams like Data Center Logistics and Amazon Cloud Logistics to identify and address cost opportunities across our network.
You will routinely collaborate with Site Leaders and operations teams to ensure our operations are meeting expected throughput KPIs and solving/understanding operational pain points that may be driving deviations.
The ideal candidate will be a confident decisive influential and innovative leader who can communicate a compelling and comprehensive set of outcomes to be achieved. You must have the presence and influence to define and enforce high standards for programs you implement and monitor at all levels. You must be comfortable with ambiguity and can define structure processes and standards that need to be improved.
The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail unlimited curiosity and a strong passion for continuous improvement.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or experience in an industry role
- Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experience in logistics transportation supply chain import/export operations or data entry/data administration
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Background in data center operations or electronics recycling/refurbishment
- Track record of implementing standardized processes across multiple sites or regions
- Change management experience in ambiguous fast-paced environments
