Job Summary

Description

Assist in the creation review and delivery of digital copies of genealogical records. Communicate effectively by phone or email to ensure excellent quality is met. Your conscientious contributions will improve the relations between FamilySearch and the Archives by increasing the quality and quantity of available records. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions can be applied to a fast-paced results-oriented work setting.

This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and should be used to enhance personal and professional experiences. Under general supervision you will perform work as assigned by the department.

Location: Downtown Salt Lake City (Church Headquarters) On-Site

Position will be full-time (40 hours a week) up to one-year.



Responsibilities
Support the Images Operation team in meeting delivery schedules of internal partner and external donor deliveries.
Work closely with members of the team to collaborate on a variety of assignments.
Analyze data and images and report quality outcomes.
Assist in overseeing and training missionaries.
Assist in the packing and shipping of hard drives including workflow documents.
Attend required meetings and provide reports on assigned tasks.
Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

To qualify for a paid internship position a candidate must be enrolled in an educational institution or have graduated from a secondary school within the past 12 months. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter. Desired skills include:

Work with minimal supervision self-motivated and take initiative.
Be self-directed on assignments and responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the work.
Ability to set priorities.
Manage time and assignments in a productive manner
Flexible and adaptable to change
Process-oriented and organizational skills including data analysis.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Skilled in the useof Excel and Word software programs.
Must be able to work On-Site; though hours are flexible.
Must have the ability to safely meet the physical job requirements such as eyesight sitting standing and lifting with reasonable accommodations.
To qualify for a Full-Time intern position you must be currently enrolled in school or have graduated within the last year and be temple worthy
