Description
We are looking for a dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse to join Kids First Health Care in Brighton. As a Pediatric RN you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to children and adolescents. Your work will be vital in ensuring the health and well-being of young patients making a significant impact on their lives and families. Responsibilities:
- Assessing and monitoring the health of pediatric patients.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Providing education and support to patients and their families.
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for pediatric patients.
- Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Responding to emergencies and providing immediate care as needed.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing (RN).
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Prior experience in pediatric nursing is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of pediatric health conditions and treatments.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations.
