Job Summary
Position Title: External Auditor
Work Set-up: Work From Office
Salary: Php 45000 Php 55000 (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday Friday
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced External Auditor to join our team. This
role is ideal for professionals with a background in accounting and auditing particularly
those who have worked with Australian clients or within Australian financial compliance
frameworks.
As an External Auditor you will be responsible for reviewing financial statements performing
substantive testing and identifying risks or compliance gaps in financial reporting. This role
will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to
communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct external audits of financial statements across various industries
Perform risk assessments and identify potential non-compliance or inaccuracies
Analyze financial reports accounting records and supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with international and local accounting standards (IFRS
GAAP)
Prepare detailed audit reports including findings and recommendations
Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements
Liaise with internal teams external accountants and clients to gather relevant
information
Provide audit support and consulting for internal controls and process
improvements
Stay updated with new audit procedures compliance standards and industry
trends
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
Minimum of 23 years experience in external auditing roles
Strong background in audit planning execution and reporting
Proficiency in Excel Xero MYOB and other cloud accounting platforms
Familiarity with CaseWare Xero Practice Manager or HowNow is an advantage
Strong knowledge of intercompany reconciliations accounts payable/receivable
and bank reconciliations
Experience in preparing management reporting packs
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
High attention to detail critical thinking and organizational abilities
Nice to Have
CPA CA or registered BAS Agent (preferred but not essential)
Prior experience working with Australian clients or accounting firms
Ability to handle multi-entity reconciliations loan and mortgage audits
Exposure to external advisory and compliance work
Familiarity with Australian Taxation and Reporting requirements
