Job Summary

Position Description:

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities.
The Procurement Specialist identifies organizational needs researches and selects vendors negotiates contracts for products and services and manages supplier relationships to ensure quality cost-effectiveness and compliance. Key responsibilities include conducting market tenders analyzing bids and monitoring supplier performance to achieve strategic goals and maintain a competitive edge for the company.

This position is located in USA VA Arlington however a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Supplier Management: Researching evaluating and selecting suppliers to meet quality cost and compliance standards.
.Contract Negotiation: Securing favorable pricing terms and conditions through contract negotiations with suppliers.
.Cost Analysis: Analyzing market trends and costs to ensure purchases are made at the best possible value.
.Bid Evaluation: Assessing vendor bids and proposals to determine suppliers that meet budget and performance criteria.
.Compliance: Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company policies legal regulations and industry standards.
.Inventory Control: Overseeing the inventory of materials and goods to ensure availability and manage stock levels.
.Performance Monitoring: Tracking supplier performance to ensure they meet contractual obligations delivery schedules and quality specifications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

.Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree and/or 5 to 10 years of experience
.Security Clearance: Secret
.Negotiation and Communication Skills: Strong ability to negotiate contracts and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
.Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis to make informed cost-effective purchasing decisions and identify trends.
.Knowledge of Procurement Principles: Understanding of procurement methods supply chain principles and vendor compliance standards.
.Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in reviewing documents contracts and invoices to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
.Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with procurement software and systems used for managing purchase orders and supplier relationships.
.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89600.00 - $218200.00.
