Job Summary

Head Coach - Middle School Girls and Boys Soccer

Winter Season (beginning November 2025)

Job Summary:

San Diego Jewish Academy is seeking two roles: Girls Middle School Soccer Head Coach and Boys Middle School Head Coachfor the 2025-26 Winter season. These positions will be responsible for fulfilling duties as assigned by the Athletic Director relevant to leading and organizing a middle school soccer team. Must have 2-5 years experience coaching at the club middle high school or college level. CPR/First-Aid certification and NFHS Concussion in Sport Certificate required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement practice plans
  • Develop game strategies
  • Provide guidance and support to team members
  • Ensure safety of players during practices and games
  • Communicate effectively with parents school administration and other coaches
  • Attend all practices and games
  • Encourage and motivate team members

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience coaching at the club middle high school or college level
  • CPR/First Aid certification required
  • NFHS Concussion in Sports Certificate required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and encourage team members
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Compensation:

  • $25/hour ($2000 for season)
