Our Las Vegas Reload specializes in transferring product from rail and truck using overhead crane and forklift. We service key customers in the Las Vegas area and are we leaders in what we do! We are looking for an for a General Laborer to join us and become part of our Arrow Team in Las Vegas NV!

Responsibilities

As general laborer you will:

Assist with general yard clean up/maintenance
Assist operators with loading and unloading railcars of steel and building materials
Assist with cleaning of equipment cutting steel banding for package securement monitoring disposal of items and railcar securement
Work in adherence to all safe work practices procedures as well as all regulatory requirements
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency ofyardshop department or work crew
Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

You Possess

A sound understanding or aptitude to learn the transloading of bulk commodities is an asset
Ability to lift 50lbs and climb ladders
Previous experience operating specialized equipment such as hostler trucks grain blowers conveyors (grain handling) forklifts and shunt trucks is an asset
Previous warehouse experience is an asset
Mechanical inclination
Ability to complete the physical aspects of the job including opening and closing rail cars dome lids climbing rail cars (heights) crawling under railcars walking long distances on uneven terrain
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
A positive attitude
