Job Summary
Clinical Pharmacist Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) & Oncology
Location: Las Vegas NV (Northwest)
Schedule: Full-time Days Rotating Weekends
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $64.16 $83.41 per hour (based on experience)
Weekend Differential: $1.50/hr
Relocation Assistance: Evaluated on a case-by-case basis
Work Environment: High-autonomy role reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy; designed for clinicians who value independence and expertise in BMT/Oncology
About the Role
Join a pioneering team at a state-of-the-art medical facility in Northwest Las Vegas. This facility is the first in Nevada to conduct CAR T-cell therapy and allogeneic stem cell transplants. As a Clinical Pharmacist you will serve as a subject matter expert within the Transplant and Cellular Therapy program collaborating closely with physicians and nurses in a 12000-square-foot outpatient clinic and a dedicated inpatient oncology unit.
Key Responsibilities
Specialized Pharmacotherapy: Manage oncology regimens for autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation blood cancer treatments CAR T-cell and BiTE therapies.
Clinical Oversight: Develop and implement order sets protocols and guidelines to support evidence-based practice.
Direct Patient Care: Perform therapeutic drug monitoring and provide patient counseling.
Collaborative Practice: Rotate between the Cancer Care Clinic and inpatient BMT unit to ensure seamless care transitions.
Leadership & Research: Support clinical research participate in quality improvement initiatives and represent pharmacy on medical center committees.
Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Licensure: Active Nevada Pharmacist License
Certification: Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP)
Experience: One of the following:
PGY2 Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant Pharmacy Practice Residency or
5 years of clinical oncology practice experience
Clinical Expertise: Experience in a BMT/Oncology clinic with a collaborative practice agreement
