About the Role:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas - Houston Branch is seeking a self-motivated versatile Cash Admin Associate III to perform general accounting activities including the preparation maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules. Prepares records analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts and financial statements and reports. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects.
You Will:
Perform daily independent proof verification to ensure all Cash processing teams transactions and settlement documents have been processed according to requirements.
Ensure Cash Departments daily transactions processed are in balance and functions debits and credits entries as needed.
Create and process statistical data to be transmitted to the Board of Governors.
Manage daily transaction activities for Cash Offsite Programs to ensure transactions were processed according to program requirements and function transactions as needed.
Review and process Cash deposits and order transactions inputs the data in the Cash system and verifies output to ensure high quality and accuracy of the transactions.
Provide Cash Department support with customer outreach efforts and Cash Services quality concerns.
Respond to inquiries by phone in person or email from internal and external customers.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Management including participating in special Cash projects and workgroups.
You Have:
Above average knowledge skills and abilities may be demonstrated by a high school diploma or GED.
Minimum two years of Cash operations or analytical experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel etc.) Outlook SharePoint and other required databases.
Ability to work as a team member in a team environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.
Travel: 10%.
