The Role

ABC News is looking for an organised and motivated Production Coordinator. You will provide critical organisational administrative and financial management support tocontent making teams in Regional VIC and the Melbourne News editorial and operational teams. This is a full-time contract role based in Southbank Melbourne for seven months and willensure business continuity in ABC News Victoria.

The Job

• Providing accurate data to feed into the budget management process.
• Managing the onboarding and engagement of employees short-term contractors and casuals ensuring training is organised.
• Rostering planning and collaborating with Resource Planning Coordinators to meet staffing requirements.
• Raising purchase orders paying invoices running finance reports.
• Managing travel proposals bookings and costings.
• Be the primary point of contact for the team.

About You

We are looking for a well-rounded super-organised and flexible individual who enjoys the variety and scope that this role offers who is passionate about the ABC.

You will have the necessary well-developed interpersonal organisational and time management skills to be able to get up to speed quickly in the role and will be someone who thrives in a busy and challenging environment.

You will have the demonstrated ability to undertake finance administration related tasks ideally having used SAP Finance or equivalent systems in a large complex environment.
