  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments.

Position Summary

The Operations Engineer/Technician (Tech III) is responsible for maintaining and supporting district-level technology systems related to security communications and operational infrastructure. This role ensures that all technical systems ranging from security cameras to networked access controls operate efficiently and securely across district facilities. The position also provides advanced technical support for district communication devices and assists with the management of critical administrative platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security and Access Control
    • Install configure and maintain security camera systems across district facilities.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot door access nodes badge systems and entry bell systems to ensure safe and secure building access.
    • Coordinate with maintenance and administration teams on system upgrades and access permissions.
  • Network and System Administration
    • Support and oversee the KnowBe4 security awareness platform including training assignments and reporting.
    • Administer PaperCut print management system including user permissions quotas and troubleshooting.
    • Serve as a technology technician for WW Admin Bus Garage and Maintenance.
    • Oversee and maintain IIQ (IncidentIQ) technology ticket and inventory system.
  • Communications and Device Management
    • Manage district-issued cell phones and MiFi devices including provisioning troubleshooting and tracking.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot faxing systems.
    • Provide technical support for communication systems used by the Maintenance department.
  • Operational Support
    • Collaborate with other technology and maintenance staff to support district operations and ensure reliable infrastructure.
    • Document configurations procedures and asset information for systems under management.
