Job Description

We are hiring for our client a respected organisation with their Headquarters based in North Belfast who are seeking a Finance Administrator to support the finance team with accounting administration and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance experience looking to work within a structured value-driven organisation.

The Role

  • Maintain and update computerised accounts using a bespoke management accounting package
  • Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in records
  • Prepare and issue invoices handle payments and reconcile accounts
  • Assist the Finance Manager and Financial Controller with year-end financial reports ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Support the administration of corporate protection and group pension schemes
  • Maintain client data and accounts ensuring accuracy across the internal system
  • Coordinate internal and external communications for payments and invoicing
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to resolve any discrepancies
  • Adhere to compliance standards and ensure confidentiality in all financial matters

The Person What Were Looking For

  • At least 4 years experience within a Finance Admin position
  • Experience using financial software packages
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and compliance processes
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • A commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards
