The Head of Agile Delivery Unit leads delivery management ensuring predictable and efficient execution across technology product and business functions. Managing Delivery Managers and Project Managers this role partners with Agile Enablement to build a sustainable delivery culture. While primarily leadership-focused it remains hands-on in critical situations resolving challenges supporting complex initiatives and leading by example.

What you can expect in this role

• As Head of Agile Delivery Unit you manage mentor and grow Delivery Managers IT Project Managers and Project Managers
• You build leadership capability and foster accountability within the unit
• Also you oversee cross-functional initiatives ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• You track and report delivery health identify risks and improve reporting practices
• Additionally you implement and maintain delivery frameworks governance and portfolio practices within the unit
• You redesign and improve team rituals (e.g. standups retros check-ins) to strengthen delivery effectiveness

Your essential experience and education

• You bring several years of experience in program project or delivery management in complex organizations
• Also you have a proven track record in scaling delivery across multiple teams and programs
• You are experienced in designing and implementing delivery models from scratch especially in environments with broken absent or misaligned SDLCs
• You are skilled in leadership people development and stakeholder management
• Besides that you have a hands-on mindset with excellent communication skills in English and German
