Job Summary

Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Brooklyn NY 11235
Type: Contract Onsite
Schedule: 37.5 hrs/week (7.5 hrs/day MonFri)
Pay Rate: $75$80/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Pharmacistfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medications per provider orders and NYS regulations
Review prescriptions for accuracy dosage and drug interactions
Counsel patients on proper medication use side effects and storage
Maintain and manage pharmaceutical inventory and storage safety
Support sterile compounding and IV preparation per USP <797>/<800>
Utilize EMR and pharmacy dispensing systems efficiently
Collaborate with physicians nurses and care teams for continuity of care
Adhere to all federal state and institutional policies

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed Pharmacist
Proficient with pharmacy dispensing systems; EMR experience preferred
Knowledge of sterile processing and IV room standards

Education & Licensure:

Bachelors or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Active NYSED Pharmacist license with Primary Source Verification
