As a Data Product Owner you will play a crucial role in project planning execution and tracking to ensure successful delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders and technology teams across the firm. Data Product Owners coordinate tasks monitor progress and analyze data to ensure on time accurate delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Agile Framework to write business requirements in the form of user stories to enhance data test execution reporting automation and digital analytics toolsets.
  • Articulate the product vision and strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Organize schedule coordinate and control project activities and resources.
  • Provide training and support to users helping them understand the data product.
  • Identify issues and risks define mitigation strategies and manage risk communication or escalation processes.
  • Gather user feedback on the product to enhance functionality and user experience.

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree with 2 years of experience in product financial services technology project management or other relevant fields.
  • SQL / database querying proficiency

  • Knowledge of JIRA SQL Microsoft suite of applications

  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) for engaging with business and technical stakeholders and management.
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge
  • Experience working on projects that involve interaction with various stakeholders and technology within a financial domain.
  • Strong partnership skills and experience influencing key stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform in high-pressure fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

  • Agile project management experience including proficiency in agile project management tools (i.e. JIRA Confluence Lucid etc.)
  • Databricks and data visualization/analytical tools (Tableau Alteryx Python) is a plus
  • Experience with cross-functional team collaboration
  • Ability to streamline workflows and improve project efficiency
  • SQL/querying knowledge a plus
