Job Summary
The salary range for this position is $18-$20 an hour
This is a part time position with a potential future full time position.
Job Responsibilities
- Adhere to all agency local state and federal policies and regulations
- Develop effective job coaching and employment plans
- Communicate with clients to understand their goals and ambitions
- Assist participants with identifying and overcoming barriers to employment success
- Assess the strengths of individuals and teach them to use them effectively
- Guide individuals in learning the skills needed to complete job tasks
- Help in the development of motivation and self-confidence
- Provide coaching related to job search skills
- Provide on-the-job coaching supports for participants
- Assist people with disabilities in developing social and independent living skills
- Advise on workplace accommodations for people with disabilities
- Monitor and evaluate progress of program participants
- Keep records and maintain documentation
- Thoroughly prepare appropriate reports in a timely manner
- Proven experience as job coach
- Experience working with people with disabilities
- Experience developing and implementing employment plans
- Ability to adhere to regulations and standards
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability
- Advocate for diversity and inclusion
- Ability to inspire and motivate
- High school diploma; bachelors degree in a relevant field is a plus
- Mass transit travel is required
