Internship Communication & Multimedia Design Innovation Lab Nijmegen

Join Planon as a Communications & Multimedia Design intern in Nijmegen starting February 2026. At Planon you will work on a wide range of creative projects from video and photography to creating innovative content for our Innovation Lab directly from our state-of-the-art studio at our headquarters in Nijmegen. During this internship you will be part of our multimedia team and work closely with colleagues from the Innovation Lab a place where innovation takes center stage. The Innovation Lab functions as a living lab where we explore and demonstrate the possibilities of innovative building technology while experimenting with new and existing technologies on a daily basis. You will contribute to the development of internal communications by creating content for showcases and demos. The tasks are diverse: from designing promotional material to taking photos and addition we are particularly interested in your fresh ideas for developing and deploying new content in an innovative and creative way. As an intern you will be working on:

• Learn develop and get to know the business world.
• Share creative ideas: Contribute your fresh insights and help the team and organization move forward with innovative concepts and solutions.
• Create impactful content: Develop visual content for various internal campaigns such as banners videos and presentations that contribute to the visibility of Planons innovations.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team: Work closely with colleagues from different areas of expertise to achieve common goals and implement new ideas.
• Experiment with new technologies: Test and implement new tools and techniques within the Innovation Lab to bring content to life in creative and innovative ways.

• HBO degree in Communication & Multimedia Design. Are you following an MBO course for example Media Design level 4 and looking for a second internship Then we would also like to hear from you!
• Knowledge and experience of the Adobe package.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch.
• Communication skills.
• And of course your creativity: you enjoy sharing your insights and creative ideas with us.

This internship will take place at our head office in Nijmegen and is easily accessible by public transport. Our colleagues work hybrid but also enjoy coming to the office which is seen as a green clubhouse where different cultures come together. During this internship you will be part of the Global Multimedia team. You will also work with our colleagues from the Innovation Lab on a daily basis. You will find yourself in a pleasant informal atmosphere where we are all enthusiastic about innovation. You will work from our head office in Nijmegen on a daily basis. Your internship supervisor will be the Lead Multimedia Designer and your client will be the Project Manager of the Innovation Lab. Together they will provide you with excellent guidance both professionally and personally.
