The Architecture Urban Design and Engineering (AUDE) unit in the department of The Built Environment (TU/E) is looking for an enthusiastic lecturer. (Docent)
In this role you will be part of our teaching team contributing to both our Bachelor and Master tracks through lectures design studios group projects and thesis supervision.
Your main responsibilities will include teaching supporting students in their academic development and engaging in innovative teaching approaches.
Additionally you will be involved in the organization of courses and learning lines.
The Department offers a comprehensive research-oriented Master of Science (MSc.) degree program within the broad field of the Built Environment. Graduates go on to work in diverse professional areas such as architecture urban design and planning building physics installation techniques construction real estate management and building production. The department is also a research institute comprising various laboratories and four research programs in which high-level research is conducted.
The AUDE unit (Architectural and Urban Design and Engineering) is one of the four units making up the Department of the Built Environment.
The unit consists of five chairs namely the chair of Architectural Design and Engineering (ADE) Rational Architecture (RA) Smart Architectural Technology (SAT) Transformational Architecture (TA) and Architectural History and Theory (AHT).
Spatial design is both the raison dĂȘtre of the unit as a whole as well as the binding force between the chairs. The unit works in a cross-disciplinary context in collaboration with the faculty and the University as a whole.
