The St. James Performance Academy is seeking a Head Gymnastics Coach to lead our elite Academy gymnastics program. This role is responsible for the overall development training and competitive success of high-performance gymnasts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the Academy gymnastics program including year-round training and competition schedules.
Develop individualized athlete development plans including technical skills strength and conditioning flexibility mental preparation and routine execution.
Facilitate college recruiting and advancement through strong national gymnastics network connections.
Recruit hire and mentor coaching staff to ensure consistent training standards.
Represent The St. James professionally within the gymnastics community.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred.
5 years coaching/program leadership experience (3 at Head or senior level).
Proven track record of athlete development and competition success.
Advanced knowledge of gymnastics techniques routines and competitive pathways.
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work evenings weekends and travel as needed.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand walk demonstrate and spot gymnastics skills for extended periods.
Ability to lift and support athletes safely during training and demonstrations.
Participate in drills conditioning and on-floor demonstrations.

Background Requirements

Must successfully complete a background check.
Valid USA Gymnastics or other relevant coaching certifications preferred.
