MDM & Identity Management Administrator (Okta Rippling)

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile Device Management (MDM):

  • Administer configure and maintain MDM platforms (e.g. Intune Jamf or Rippling MDM).

  • Enroll monitor and secure endpoints (laptops mobile devices) according to company policies.

  • Enforce device compliance encryption passcode OS versioning and patching.

  • Manage app deployments VPN/Wi-Fi profiles and device wipe/lock actions.

• Okta Administration:

  • Manage user lifecycle through Okta Universal Directory and SCIM integrations.

  • Configure and maintain SSO MFA and conditional access policies.

  • Create and manage custom workflows for onboarding/offboarding automation.

  • Integrate new SaaS applications via SAML/OIDC protocols.

• Rippling Administration:

  • Manage user provisioning device setup and application access through Rippling.

  • Ensure smooth coordination between HRIS (employee data) Okta and MDM for automated access provisioning.

  • Audit access rights monitor compliance and handle offboarding tasks securely.

• Security & Compliance:

  • Maintain endpoint and identity compliance with internal IT and security policies.

  • Respond to incidents related to device loss access breaches or compliance failures.

  • Generate periodic reports on device posture access logs and user compliance.

• Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with IT Security and HR teams to streamline the employee technology experience.

  • Provide L2/L3 support for device access or account-related issues.

  • Contribute to documentation and process improvement for IT operations.

Qualifications :

Required Skills & Experience

• 37 years of hands-on experience in MDM 

• Strong understanding of Okta (SSO MFA SAML SCIM Lifecycle Management).

• Experience with Rippling (HRIS app provisioning MDM integration) preferred.

• Familiarity with macOS Windows iOS and Android device management.

• Basic knowledge of networking endpoint security and identity governance.

• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Okta Certified Administrator (or higher).

• Experience automating workflows using Okta Workflows or Rippling APIs.

• Understanding of Zero Trust security and conditional access models.

• Prior experience in a fast-paced SaaS or startup environment.
