What youll build

As a working student in one of our Cloud service teams - a diverse team doing agile software development on a global scale - you will work closely with your teammates in the development process.

• You will support the colleagues to improve the availability scalability and reliability of our service infrastructure.
• You will have the chance to get hands-on experience and support in topics like design implementation and delivery of a high-quality cloud solution to our customers.
• You will work in a diverse team that practices agile software development. The team is empowered and self-organized.
• You will gain experience in developing high quality software using state-of-the-art technologies in an international working environment.

As a student your working hours will be flexible with a maximum of 20 hours each week during the semester based on hourly wage and up to 40 hours during the semester break.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in the area of computer science or similar
• Initial experience with two or more of the following: Kubernetes Docker Git Helm Argo Vault Terraform
• Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Python Golang
• Very good language skills in English (German is a plus)
• Team player can-do attitude self-motivate
• Coming to the office in Berlin required(at least onceper week)

The Database Cloud Infrastructure team is responsible for a set of integrated data platform and infrastructure services which are the foundation of SAP HANA Cloud SAP Data Warehouse Cloud SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Data Intelligence Embedded.
Our services are designed and implemented using cutting-edge technologies especially Kubernetes and are running at large scale in all major cloud providers. We enjoy pushing beyond the limits of whats currently possible which also requires close collaboration with our cloud technology partners.
