Office location Parramatta/flexible within other established NSW work locations Hybrid working supported
Salary relative to experience and ranges from $129464to $142665 super

This is an exciting opportunity to provides data governance insights and recommendations to support data collections collation and data management. This role looks after organising and leading bimonthly meeting of Publications disclosure and Open Data committee providing data agreement services and other data governance related services to the Water Group and extending to the whole department.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in data governance and information management including metadata data cataloguing and data asset registers.
Strong analytical and risk evaluation skills with the ability to provide governance insights and recommendations to support business.
Technical proficiency in data management practices.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on improving data discoverability accessibility and transparency.
Understanding of authorisation and approval processes related to data sharing and release including risk identification and mitigation.
