Job Summary
Starting Salary: $16.00 per hour.
Schedule: 10pm to 6am varies plus every other Saturday and Sunday.
The Resident Assistant provides assistance to residents in a manner that meets or exceeds community expectations. You may be required to respond to emergency calls and situations; document and report care provided; and transport residents to various functions or locations. Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population is essential for this role.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as grooming oral hygiene bath/shower hair and maintaining resident apartments.
- Document and report care provided and resident observations.
- Obtain vital signs heights and weights.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this position we believe that you need the following experiences and skills:
- A big smile eagerness to learn and compassion for our Residents.
- If you are under the age of 18 you must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable).
- Must complete all state educational requirements CPR is preferred.
- A First Aid certification and Heimlich Maneuver training may be facilitated by the company.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
- Experience working with an elderly population particularly memory care is preferred.
