Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Assistant Supervisor responsible for displaying leadership skills for the day-to-day lab operations as well as provide administrative support to the Microbiology Laboratory. What You Will Need:
- High School diploma or Associate degree required.
- Some background knowledge or experience of working in a lab preferably microbiology lab required.
- Computer skills and ability to utilize standard Microsoft Office Products (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook) required.
- Must have strong leadership communication and time management skills.
- Must be able to distinguish differences in color with or without accommodation.
- Self-starter and ability to track and maintain project process independently.
- Ability to maintain high quality standards with minimal supervision and to bring urgent matters to the attention to proper personnel for immediate resolution.
- Ability to read and interpret procedures safety information operating and maintenance instructions.
- Strong planning and organizational skills and proactive work initiative to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
- Ability to work daily overtime required.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish required.
- Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen.

Benefits
Total Rewards: $20.00 - $25.00 / HOUR
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.
