Job Summary

The Philanthropy Operations Specialist within the Philanthropy Operations & Performance team will plan and execute various projects align communications and maintain and update team processes technologies tools and documentation. They will work collaboratively within the team and across Global Development IT and other functions to ensure alignment and improve team deliverables. The Philanthropy Operations Specialist will:

  • Conduct project planning coordination and execution for various projects such as the organizations annual goal setting process and philanthropy performance conversations cycle.

  • Manage the Development Operations Communications program including maintaining an editorial calendar gathering content from team members organizing newsletters scheduling alignment meetings and other related tasks.

  • Collaborate with the IT team and other stakeholders to define requirements for new team tools and technologies and update and maintain existing tools such as the Philanthropy Operations Support Hub.

The Philanthropy Operations Specialist must have advanced knowledge (or be capable of quickly gaining advanced level skill) of the systems and resources utilized by the team (Asana Power BI Microsoft 365 applications) and Development Operations staff (BBCRM and Workday) in order to provide programmatic support and coordinate communications related to the resources. They will have substantial contact with stakeholders and may serve as the lead liaison with partners. They will take on additional duties to enhance the work of the team such duties may include but are not limited to a more significant role in training developing documentation and/or enhancing the systems and tools used by the team. The Philanthropy Operations Specialist will keep up-to-date on market trends and best practices in order to improve services. They will adapt processes and implement recommended practices in order to improve effectiveness based on their in-depth understanding of related policies and procedures.

What Youll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination.

  • Experience coordinating projects.

  • Experience generating reports and analyzing and interpreting data.

  • Experience working across departments.

  • Experience with current technology in operations management.

  • Experience coursework or other training in principles and practices of operations management.

Salary Information:

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $66950 - $97500. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidates actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors including for example the candidates location qualifications specific skills and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
