POSITION SUMMARY
The Backend Software Engineer II is a part of our Corporate Data and Analytics team and plays a vital role as an independent contributor focusing on the development of moderately complex backend features and services. This position involves taking ownership of small modules engaging in design discussions and providing mentorship to junior engineers. Furthermore collaboration with various teams is essential to ensure the delivery of high-quality production-ready software.
This role will be located on-site in Appleton with in-office expectations Monday - Thursday and remote work optional on Fridays as business needs allow.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers QA and other stakeholders to deliver quality backend solutions.
- Design and implement moderately complex backend features APIs and services Core.
- Assume responsibility for small modules or components with a focus on ensuring they are maintainable reliable and easily testable.
- Engage in technical design discussions providing valuable input and suggesting alternative solutions for consideration.
- Offer mentorship to junior engineers and interns through constructive guidance and thoughtful reviews.
- Conduct code reviews for less experienced engineers to help maintain high standards and promote overall quality.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
2 years of backend software engineering experience.
Proficiency Core C# REST APIs and relational databases.
Ability to design code test and debug independently.
