Job Summary

Are you passionate about helping people grow and thrive in their roles Do you love designing and delivering learning experiences that make a real impact Join our friendly and forward-thinking People Team as a Learning & Development Specialist.

This role is a 12 month-fixed term this role youll work closely with our Learning & Development Business Partner to deliver engaging and effective learning solutions across our clinical and business support teams. From induction programmes to leadership development youll be at the heart of shaping how our people learn develop and succeed.

About the role

As our Learning & Development Specialist youll be part of a collaborative team thats committed to continuous improvement and innovation. Youll lead the design and delivery of learning programmes facilitate workshops and coaching sessions and support strategic initiatives like career pathways and apprenticeships.

Youll also play a key role in coordinating learning events managing logistics and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for learners. With a focus on impact youll monitor learning metrics and trends to help us evolve and improve our approach.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. Youll be building relationships across departments staying up to date with L&D best practices and contributing to a culture of learning and growth.

What were looking for

Were looking for someone whos enthusiastic proactive and passionate about learning and development. Youll be a confident communicator and facilitator with strong relationship-building skills and a creative solutions-focused mindset.

Youll also bring:

  • Experience delivering learning solutions in healthcare charity or corporate settings
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organised
  • A genuine interest in continuous improvement and innovation in L&D
  • An understanding and empathy for the work of the Hospice
