Region NCE > Sales Onshore NCE > Sales Germany West

The sales team in Rheine is part of the Sales Central Organization. We mainly work with customers from West Germany and aim to set up the best possible business cases with and for the customers taking Vestas technologies into account. As our new Commercial Engineer (f/m/d) you will join a team of 10 experienced and highly skilled sales professionals in the Rheine office.

Responsibilities

As a commercial engineer (f/m/d) you have an important part in the financial engineering of our projects:

  • Monitoring cost and key financials developments.
  • Together with our Sales Managers you will develop pricing strategies to optimize the business case for the customers as well as for Vestas.
  • Work closely with our Construction Transport and Supply Chain teams to gather essential input and guarantee the effective progression of our projects.
  • You stand close to the customer and the market and will be responsible for maintaining our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool with relevant information regarding deals milestones developments and offerings
  • Contract closing and negotiation support to the Sales Manager and handle the contract administration prior to handover to Construction.

Qualifications

We believe you can recognize yourself in the following prerequisites:

  • You have a degree in business administration industrial engineering or a comparable field of study.
  • Solid grasp of financial models and able to both generate and draw insight from key financials as well as communicate them effectively in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You have good communication skills and convey information clearly concisely and engagingly.
  • You are proficient in English and German both written and spoken.
  • Commercial understanding of cost and other financial calculations

Additional Information

Location: Rheine Germany.

Travel days: 10 days annually.
