Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Field Service Technician to perform inspections repairs modifications and upgrades on large industrial/commercial doors and related equipment across the United States. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who thrives in a customer-facing travel-intensive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections repairs and upgrades on large-scale vertical lifting tip-up bi-fold and rolling industrial doors.
Interpret blueprints schematics and electrical diagrams to diagnose and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot components and recommend solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring safety and satisfaction.
Maintain tools equipment and service vehicles in proper working order.
Partner with customers to deliver professional service and support.
Support departmental objectives and contribute to broader organizational goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications a plus.
5 years of mechanical or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems electrical components and construction documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer usage.
Excellent communication time management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently adapt under pressure and maintain professionalism in diverse environments.
Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Work Environment & Requirements
Must pass full government background checks and random drug screenings.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights up to 100 feet using aerial lifts and fall protection equipment.
Flexible schedule including extended or weekend hours to meet customer needs.
Up to 75% travel required across the U.S.
