The role: what your day looks like

As a Product Development Engineer II focused on New Product Introduction (NPI) youll guide new mechanical products from early concept through production launch. Morning stand-ups with Sales Customer Service Production and Quality align priorities. Midday youre in SolidWorks refining a critical subassembly applying DFM principles and GD&T to ensure the afternoon youre on the floor piloting a new fixture and capturing updates for drawings BOMs and ECRskeeping projects on time on scope and to spec.

What youll deliver

• Innovative product subassembly and component designs built in SolidWorks 3D CAD.
• Designs optimized for scale and quality using DFM and rigorous GD&T application.
• Clear documentation: detailed drawings bills of materials ECRs and assembly work instructions.
• Part and assembly drawings with appropriate tolerancing and geometric controls.
• Purpose-built fixtures tooling and process improvements that accelerate in-house manufacturing.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Sales Customer Service Production and Quality to hit project goals.
• Active participation in design reviews technical discussions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Uncompromising adherence to safety and quality standards.

What you bring

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years in mechanical design engineering.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks including CAD PDM and Simulation/FEA.
• Fluency with design documentation quality standards GD&T and ERP systems.
• Hands-on build/assembly experience and troubleshooting skills for mechanical systems.
• Strong analytical problem solving paired with excellent communication and collaboration.

Compensation & benefits

• Pay range: $90000 $110000 USD. Actual compensation may vary within above or below this range based on education training experience professional achievement business need and location.
