The Department of Event Management Dining and Hospitality is the largest student employer at Illinois State University. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with marketing campaigns to promote the programs services and events of Event Management Dining and Hospitality (EMDH).
- Design marketing materials such as flyers posters banners brochures digital signage etc.
- Assist with photography and videography needs.
- Offer expertise provide recommendations and report on the latest innovations and trends of the graphic design industry.
- Uphold the graphic standards set by the University the Division of Student Affairs and Event Management Dining and Hospitality.
- Occasionally attend department events to provide photo/video coverage that fall outside the standard working hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

*Graphic Design Major Is Required*
- Creativity and ability to produce innovative designs
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and accept feedback
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to multi-task organize and pay close attention to detail
- Effective time management skills with an emphasis on punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work closely with others on a team
- Basic understanding of DSLR cameras and photo/video equipment or willingness to learn for photography and videography needs
- Currently enrolled as a part-time or full-time student maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0. Candidates must be in academic and judicial good standing
- Must be available to work 10 - 15 hours per week Monday - Friday.
- Experienced designers preferred.
- Priority given to candidates with multi-semester and/or summer 2026 availability
