They lead the projects thatshape the future of our depots and stabling facilities ensuring our trainshave the facilities they need to keep running safely and reliably every our TRU Depots and Stabling Programme Manager youlltake the lead on projects linked to the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) oneof the most significant rail infrastructure programmes in the UK. Youll bringpeople plans and priorities together to make sure our depot and stablingprojects not only keep services moving during TRU works but also deliverlong-term improvements for the is a role that sits right at the heart of Northernstransformation balancing strategic planning interface management deliveryand working closely with key stakeholders across Network Rail contractors andinternal teams.

What youll be doing

Youll manage a portfolio of depot and stablinginfrastructure projects from development through to delivery to ensure milestoneshappen on time within budget and to the highest work will include:

• Overseeing projects at key locations such as Heaton and Hull delivering infrastructure enhancements and long-term operational benefits.
• Coordinating with key programmes to manage interdependencies access planning and mitigations that keep our operations on track.
• Acting as the main point of contact for TRU depot and stabling works representing Northerns strategic interests at industry forums and alliance meetings.
• Ensure team accountability for scope budget and delivery taking proactive action when programmes or costs are at risk.
• Managing risks reporting and governance through robust project controls and clear communication across teams.
• Supporting and mentoring others within the Infrastructure Change team to build capability and consistency across our delivery portfolio.

No two days will look the same youll balancebig-picture programme management with the detail that keeps complexinfrastructure projects running smoothly.

About you

Youll bring strong experience in programme or projectmanagement within a rail infrastructure and ideally depots environment with aproven ability to coordinate complex projects across multiple stakeholders. Commercially astute collaborative and calm under pressureyoull be comfortable leading teams influencing senior stakeholders andfinding practical solutions in fast-moving situations.

A few things youll bring:

• Ideally project or Programme Management qualifications (Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent)
• A solid understanding of Health Safety and Environmental legislation and CDM Regulations
• Experience working within a rail operating or depot environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive organised and adaptable approach youll make things happen even when challenges arise

Degree-level qualifications or substantial relevantexperience would be ideal but what matters most is your ability to lead withconfidence and deliver with precision.
