Job Summary

The Supply Chain Specialist will coordinate procurement logistics inventory management and repairs of OCTG items needed by the Division. This includes but is not limited to the following areas of responsibility:

  1. Coordinate with engineering and field personnel to ensure operational needs are understood and supported.
  2. Work with Supply Chain headquarters team members to forecast future OCTG needs.
  3. Solicit quotes from vendors generate bid summaries and produce recommendations on procurement to review with relevant stakeholders.
  4. Generate and distribute purchase orders for OCTG items and related services.
  5. Manage outstanding orders to ensure deliveries are met.
  6. Coordinate logistics between vendor sites field locations and storage facilities.
  7. Process and review invoices to ensure timely payment to vendors.
  8. Participate in managing inspections divestments and warranty claims on materials.
  9. Process material transfers and develop and maintain a deep understanding of materials accounting.
  10. Perform well reconciliations and work with operational and accounting personnel to ensure AFEs are properly charged in a timely manner.
  11. Help support research and replies to internal and external audit requests.
  12. Take an active role in managing inventory stock levels performing physical inventory counts and the associated reconciliations.

This role will require an in-depth understanding of the Divisions operational areas; and include the need for ongoing communication with all areas of operations to ensure that the daily material and equipment needs are met on a timely basis. The Supply Chain Specialist will need to perform the above duties with little supervision or oversight.
High School diploma or GED is required bachelors degree in business Supply Chain Management Accounting or a related field is preferred. 5 years of experience within the Oil and Gas steel or pipe industry is preferred. Prior experience with procurement and logistics is beneficial but not required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary along with the ability to multi-task and reprioritize workload in a dynamic working environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Outlook. This position will involve travel to field locations and vendor facilities. Position requires some on-call duties on nights and weekends.

Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
