Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingSurgical Technologistfor an exciting Travel or Local job inHyannisMA.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room with surgical instruments sterile drapes and solutions.
Maintain sterility during procedures according to hospital policy and AORN standards.
Perform scrub technician functions for all surgical specialties.
Pass instruments and sterile supplies to the surgeon and assistants.
Hold retractors cut sutures count sponges needles and instruments.
Care for and dispose of specimens for lab analysis.
Apply surgical dressings.
Assist in patient transport and positioning for surgery.
Operate sterilizers lights suction and other diagnostic equipment.
Assist in restocking and turnover of the operating room for the next procedure.
Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
Respect patient privacy dignity and safety.
Provide service excellence following Cape Cod Hospitals CARES values: Compassion Accountability Respect Excellence and Service.
