PRN Patient Access Representative

Location: Logan Health Polson Montana

Schedule: PRN (as-needed; flexible schedule)

Join our team in Polson on the beautiful southern shore of Flathead Lake! Were looking for a friendly detail-oriented PRN Patient Access Representative with outstanding customer service skills to join our tight-knit welcoming team.

Youll be the first point of contact for patients helping create a seamless positive experience while supporting the clinics wide range of services. If you love connecting with people and making a difference every day we want to hear from you!

About the Clinic:
Logan Healths Polson clinic is a specialty clinic providing comprehensive patient-centered care for the entire family. Our services include:

  • On-demand walk-in and same-day appointments

  • Continuity of care across all ages

  • Immunizations and minor wound care

  • X-ray and lab services

  • Family health care from infants through geriatrics

  • On-site behavioral health screening assessment treatment and care coordination

  • Womens health services

  • Cardiac testing

  • Ultrasound and Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and provide outstanding customer service.

  • Schedule appointments manage patient flow and coordinate care across services.

  • Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations.

  • Accurately enter and maintain patient records in electronic health systems.

  • Communicate effectively with patients providers and staff.

  • Assist with front desk and administrative tasks as needed.

  • Ensure every patient feels valued informed and supported during their visit.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a medical office or patient access role preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; enjoys connecting with patients.

  • Comfort using electronic health records and office software.

  • Flexible and adaptable to a PRN schedule.

Shift:

Day Shift - Variable Hours (United States of America)

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

PRN positions (also referred to as Casual As Needed or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods employee absences and vacations making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs.Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
