Job Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Location: Rochester NY

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Mid shift 312-hour shifts (3:00 PM 3:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Pay Rate: $52 $57 per hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRegistered Nurse Emergency Roomfor an exciting Travel or Local job inRochester NY.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Current certifications in BLS ACLS PALS and NIHSS are required.

Key Skills:

Proficient in providing comprehensive adult and pediatric emergency department care.
Skilled in dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
Experienced in managing multisystem organ dysfunction and failure.
Competent in blood product administration.
Knowledgeable in central line care and management.
Proficient in phlebotomy and intravenous (IV) insertion.
Experienced in administering continuous IV paralytics and sedation.
Skilled in emergency medication administration including IV vasopressors.
Experienced in procedural sedation techniques.
Knowledgeable in stroke (CVA) care protocols.
Adheres to strict isolation precautions.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferably Epic
