About the Client:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily and weekly showroom audits guide the audit team and follow up on findings.
  • Ensure key audit issues are resolved and present audit reports at monthly management meetings.
  • Conduct risk-focused audits and present findings with actionable recommendations.
  • Execute the annual Group Audit Plan within defined timelines and ensure alignment with audit objectives.
  • Review and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies in coordination with operations teams.
  • Assess and enhance internal controls related to cash handling inventory and operational activities.
  • Monitor showroom expansion projects construction plans and launch-related activities.
  • Prepare and present process and audit reports to the Group Audit Committee quarterly.
  • Manage and mentor the Internal Audit team ensuring performance professional development and motivation.
  • Utilize audit data analytics and other tools to identify control deficiencies and recommend risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a reputed audit firm (experience in FMCG or internal audit preferred).
  • Full professional qualification in CA / CIMA / ACCA / CMA.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office; experience with Oracle and Audit Data Analytics tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills in Sinhala and English.
  • Strong analytical ability to identify control weaknesses assess risks and propose mitigation measures.
