Job Summary: Partners closely with Womens Health Services clinical leads to coordinate comprehensive high-quality care across the continuum for patients in Emory Healthcare hospitals. Collaborates with interdisciplinary clinical teams administrative leaders and external partners to drive exceptional patient experiences foster program growth and ensure compliance with relevant accreditation and specialty certification standards. Champions clinical excellence by supporting data-driven quality improvement initiatives and the implementation of evidence-based protocols across obstetrics gynecology reproductive health and maternal-fetal medicine. Primary duties and responsibilities: Care Coordination and Collaboration: with Womens Health Services clinical leads to oversee coordination of care across service lines obstetrics gynecology reproductive health and maternal-fetal medicine ensuring timely equitable and patient-centered partnership with Labor & Delivery the Emergency Department outpatient clinics and inpatient units to streamline transitions of care and promote early assessment and intervention. as a clinical partner and subject matter expert to frontline teams and interdisciplinary stakeholders promoting shared decision-making and evidence-based practices in womens health. Quality Safety and Performance Improvement: process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety by monitoring processes analyzing data collaborating with teams and leadership and developing strategies for quality enhancement within womens health. report and analyze patient safety risks and events. -develops monitors and analyzes quality metrics in partnership with clinical leads to track maternal outcomes patient experience and screening benchmarks identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement. real-time data insights and feedback to clinical teams on performance metrics such as maternal morbidity reduction and postpartum follow-up compliance. Accreditation and Compliance: collaborative efforts with clinical leads and program administrators to achieve and maintain program accreditations and specialty certifications (i.e. Maternal Center Designation and Joint Commission) ensuring compliance with standards and preparing for site visits. Clinical Practice and Policy Development: the co-development and periodic review of clinical policies pathways procedures and order sets to ensure alignment with best practices and evolving standards of care. Education Training and Professional Development: with clinical leaders to design and implement targeted education training and competency-building programs informed by data trends clinical guidelines and provider feedback. Travel: Less than 10% of the time may be required Work Type: On-site employee - Works in the office or at a physical workplace interacting with colleagues face-to-face Minimum Required Qualifications: Education - Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited school Experience - 4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year in womens health obstetrics or a related field Licensure - Must have a valid active and unencumbered nursing license or temporary permit as approved by the state board Preferred Qualifications Education - Masters degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or a related field Experience - Quality Improvement care coordination or program development in womens health services Certification - A relevant womens health specialty (i.e. Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Womens Health Nurse Practitioner)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium Max 25lbs): up to 25 lbs. 0-33% of the workday (occasionally) Lifting 25 lbs. max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs.; Occasional to frequent standing & walking Occasional sitting Close eye work (computers typing reading writing) Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

Environmental exposures include but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock Floor Surfaces Hot/Cold Temperatures Indoor/Outdoor conditions Latex Lighting Patient care/handling injuries Radiation Shift work Travel may be required.
