The firm forecasts robust growth in new customer acquisition through the complimentary General Insurance business (COG) strong Digital Marketing and Telemarketing channels and wide set of digital partnerships in Asia to reinforce the existing Agency model. The different Chubb entities have made sporadic investments in digital solutions with limited inputs from Human Centered Design and enterprise Data Strategy. Resulting in a smorgasbord of stand-alone solutions. This offers a suboptimal experience for users limits ability to leverage data and is not scalable. The business has recently embarked on a multi-year transformation agenda spanning the digital data operations and channels to integrate and modernize the business with strong focus on driving better Customer Experience fueling top line growth.
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced designer to join our team and play a key role in driving Human-Centered Design (HCD) practices journey mapping and supporting UX/UI design efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user research design thinking and creating intuitive engaging digital experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate across teams to ensure our products and services meet the needs of our users while aligning with business goals.

What you will do:
- Human-Centered Design (HCD):Champion HCD principles across the organization ensuring user needs are at the core of all design decisions. Facilitate workshops design sprints and collaborative sessions to foster a user-first mindset.
- Journey Mapping:Lead the creation of detailed customer journey maps to identify pain points opportunities and moments that matter. Use insights to inform design strategies and improve the end-to-end user experience.
- UX/UI Design:Design and deliver high-quality wireframes prototypes and user interfaces that are visually appealing accessible and aligned with brand guidelines. Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation.
- User Research:Conduct user research through interviews surveys usability testing and other methods to gather insights and validate design decisions. Translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers developers and stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement:Stay up-to-date with industry trends tools and best practices in HCD UX/UI and journey mapping. Share knowledge and contribute to the growth of the design team.
QualificationsSkills and Experience:
- Proven experience (8 years) in UX/UI design HCD and journey mapping.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design processes journey maps and impactful digital experiences.
- Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Sketch Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Insurance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML CSS JavaScript) is a bonus.
- Certification or training in HCD design thinking or related methodologies.
